See the members of our Medical Advisory Board
The Brittle Bone Society continues to work collaboratively with the four nationally commissioned Highly Specialised Services (HSS) who have an interest in paediatric Osteogenesis Imperfecta in England, and other regional centres throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland. We also have close links with some NHS adult specialists who have an interest in Osteogenesis Imperfecta and other metabolic bone conditions such as HPP and XLH.
The Society has therefore created a free to join Professional Network developed to provide support and information for professionals who are specialists working in the field of Osteogenesis Imperfecta and other rare bone diseases in the UK and Ireland.
Help us expand our Professional Network! Over 250 health and social care professionals are currently working with us to improve services for people with OI.
Join them and you can gain:
Access our latest OI resources;
Peer support via the BBS Medical Advisory Board, POINT (Paediatric Osteogenesis Imperfecta National Team) and other members of the Professional Network;
Our quarterly e-update so you are the first to know about upcoming BBS events, campaigns and research news;
Grant funding for researchers.
As a member of the Professional Network, you may also be eligible for subsided entry into BBS events.
